Avista is excited to exhibit at the 2022 KRWA (Kansas Rural Water Association) 53rd Annual Conference in Wichita, KS on March 29-31, 2022. Booth #336.

UF & RO Membrane Foulant Occurrences in the Midwest

Avista Presenter: Ken Robinson, Avista North America Application and Sales Manager

This presentation focuses on the types of fouling that are currently being experienced at a variety of MF/UF membrane plants and RO/NF in the Midwest. The discussion includes how the foulant materials are setting up in the various membrane elements and what types of analytical tools are used to identify foulants and provide solutions for their removal. Summary case studies will be presented from mostly municipal applications with both well and surface water sources in the Midwest.
