San Marcos, CA –Avista Technologies congratulates Rob Goodlett,  Lee Durham, and Ray Eaton on their recent retirement after many years dedicated to advancing membrane treatment solutions. Their combined decades of invaluable experience and industry knowledge have been instrumental to Avista’s success.

Among their notable career achievements:

Ray Eaton embarked on his water purification journey in 1977 at Arrowhead Industrial Water, where he crossed paths with Dave Walker, a co-founder of Avista. Ray joined Avista as its third employee and inaugural Application and Salesperson, quickly cultivating a passion for disseminating technical insights to industry peers. In 2019 he assumed the role of Technical Support, overseeing customer support and OSCAR services, followed by a promotion to VP of Technical Support in 2021 where he established the Avista Technical Champion Program and training experience center.  While Ray announced his retirement as of March 2024, he remains committed to Avista on a part-time basis, lending his expertise to the development of Avista training programs.

Lee Durham, an industry stalwart, commenced his career in 1980 at Desalination Systems before transitioning to Argo Scientific as a Global Product Line Manager where he established their EU office. Lee joined Avista in September 2013 as the Director of Technical Services and later became Director of Inside Sales in 2017. After a decade of supporting customers and imparting membrane expertise, he retired from Avista in September 2023, leaving an indelible mark on the company.

In his role as Application & Sales, West USA since 2001, Rob Goodlett brought a wealth of knowledge to Avista and his customers. Armed with a profound understanding of membrane system processes, coupled with expertise in chemical application, Rob played a pivotal role in Avista’s growth. His retirement in February 2024 marked the culmination of nearly 23 years of dedicated service to the company.

These three esteemed industry veterans’ contributions allow Avista to look toward the future with optimism and readiness. Ray, Lee, and Rob’s mentorship and leadership will ensure their legacy continues with the next generation of membrane experts.
