Avista will participate in the MWWA (Manitoba Water & Wasterwater Association) 2021 Virtual Conference and Tradeshow held on February 22-23, 2021.

Avista’s Ken Robinson, North America Application and Sales Manager will host a technical session “The Word Antiscalant Has No Meaning” (Session 21) on Tuesday, February 23, 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm CST.

Session Abstract: As RO/NF membrane technologies, applications and installations continue to proliferate, the antiscalant chemistry used for scale control can make or break the process. The marketplace has tried to define this unique chemistry as a commodity and as a result the definition and the performance characteristics have become ambiguous. This presentation will look at the current state of the technology, how it is applied, and how it can make a difference.
