Reflections on Leadership with Avista’s CEO, Toshi Maema

As we bid farewell to another year filled with achievements and transitions, we find ourselves immersed in the festive spirit of the holiday season. Reflecting on the retirement of our founder and former CEO, Dave Walker, and the exciting introduction of our current CEO and President, Toshi Maema, we are reminded of the joyous journey we’ve shared together.

Toshi’s vibrant leadership and profound industry expertise have surpassed our expectations, bringing a sense of renewal and enthusiasm to Avista. This holiday season, we can’t help but express our gratitude for the positive energy and dedication every individual at Avista infuses into our organization.

To add a sprinkle of holiday cheer, we recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Toshi to discuss his reflections on his inaugural year as President and CEO of Avista. Our conversation touched on strategic visions, shared challenges, and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for our company in the coming year.

“Navigating the transition to Avista and collaborating closely with all team members has been a remarkable journey. The foundation established by Dave for this company is robust, and my intention is to further cultivate and expand upon it. Anticipating the future, I am excited about advancing and creating more sustainable membrane treatment solutions in the upcoming year.” – Toshi

To spread the holiday cheer, we’d like to extend our warmest wishes to our cherished customers, who have been an integral part of our journey. Their support and loyalty have been the driving force behind our success, and for that, we are truly grateful.

May this holiday season bring an abundance of joy, peace, and prosperity. We look forward to the coming year, filled with new opportunities, innovations, and shared successes.

“I am grateful for being a part of the Avista family. I wish everyone a joyful holiday season and a bright and prosperous New Year!” – Toshi.

Warm regards,

Toshi & The Avista Family
