Avista Announces Jason Bailey as Vice President of Technical Support

San Marcos, CA – February 15, 2023 —Avista Technologies, Inc, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Bailey to Vice President of Technical Support due to the company’s continued growth and succession planning. Over his thirty-four-year career in the water treatment industry, Jason held roles from regeneration technician to Chief Technical Officer. In 2011 Jason joined Avista as Application and Sales for the Southeast region of the United States.  

In this new role, Jason will manage Avista’s Field Technical Engineers supporting Avista customers and resellers worldwide. His department focuses on troubleshooting, startups, pilots, operational data analysis, and optimizing membrane systems with Avista chemicals and training. Jason will also oversee the operation and global expansion of Avista technical services including Offsite Cleaning and Restoration (OSCAR) and Black Box monitoring technology.  

Jason’s wide range of experience, customer service-oriented approach and technical expertise make him ideal for this new role. Avista anticipates that he will make a great impact on the innovation and direction of Avita’s technical services as the company continues to lead the industry in membrane treatment solutions. 

Ray Eaton held the position for two years and will now act as Technical Support Advisor. Ray expressed his excitement about this transition, “Jason is someone I have wanted to be my successor for a long time now. We need younger, qualified talent filling certain roles who bring fresh, innovative ideas and high energy. Jason has all of that.”  

Jason states, “Taking on this role is very exciting. I look forward to supporting our customers and providing guidance to future generations on a global scale.”
