Stuart will be presenting “Things That Happen to Membranes”.

There are many visual clues given about the health of a RO system by how the membranes look when being pulled out of the pressure vessel. Each visual clue is an opportunity to recognize a system issue and start the process of making changes that will ultimately lead to extended membrane life. This session will look at all the common visual clues operators typically see during maintenance or membrane replacement events, give the causes of such events, and discuss what can be done to take corrective or preventative action.
