BIOTROL 536
BIOTROL 536 is a 20% solution of 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA) microbiocide for industrial water treatment applications. It is designed to control microorganisms in commercial and industrial cooling tower systems, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, wastewater treatment systems, and a variety of oil field applications. BIOTROL 536 has been shown to reduce microorganism concentrations which lead to biofilm formation and loss of heat exchange efficiency in cooling water systems. It will also remove slime and biofilm, which can harbor disease-causing bacteria. In air washer application, BIOTROL 536 will break up slime and sludge found on mist eliminators.
