The Water Resilience Coalition Visits Avista Technologies to Discuss Water Sustainability Initiatives - ARCHIVED

On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, members from the Water Resilience Coalition (WRC) promotion group visited the Avista Experience Center and Corporate Headquarters to meet the Avista team. During the visit the team discussed the current campaign findings and strategized future environmental campaigns and how, together, we can make the greatest impact on the sustainability of natural resources. The promotions group was also given a tour of the Avista facilities to learn more about membrane treatment solutions and expand their industry knowledge.  

The WRC promotion group includes Hisada Yumiko and Kamamoto Masashi from Kurita Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan and Alexandra Causey from Kurita America. 

Avista was a key stop on their multi-city trip to discuss the WRC’s initiative with various water treatment facilities in the United States and Canada. This campaign aligns with Kurita’s corporate mission of Creating Shared Value by offering facilities more sustainable water treatment options which help to save operational costs, energy, and water while reducing carbon footprint.  

The current campaign, IMPACT TOGETHER: The Colorado River Basin Project, running from September 2022 to March 2023, focuses on creating greater water sustainability in communities around the Basin through local and regional contributions.
