Biological Fouling
Symptoms of biological fouling include:
- High differential pressures particularly in the first array, but may penetrate through the system
- Gelatinous foulant may be present coating the anti-telescoping devices (ATDs), cartridge filter housing and piping
- The foulant can vary in color from tan and brown to pink
- Odor
