Description

The Learning & Development Program Manager is at the forefront of shaping our global membrane treatment solutions training programs. Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, you will lead and oversee the development of sales and technical learning initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and innovative curriculum design. You will collaborate with global partners and subject matter experts to drive learning projects on a global scale, infusing creativity into the design of engaging content. We are seeking an individual who has a proven track record in instructional design, project management, leading and executing global learning programs, and has a passion for fostering continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

– Lead and oversee the development and execution of membrane treatment sales and technical learning and development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.

– Effectively manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and activities to achieve program goals.

– Devise a regular cadence of reporting program/project status, issues, and needs to the leadership team.

Curriculum & Portfolio Management:

– Define, manage, and own the learning curriculum for sales and technical skills in membrane treatment solutions for employees and customers.

– Maintain and update the curriculum portfolios, incorporating feedback and adjusting content to meet evolving business needs.

Instructional Design and Innovation:

– Apply instructional design principles to create engaging learning curriculum, leveraging various formats such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, virtual-live training, and multimedia content.

– Advise on learning design and innovative approaches for learning solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of adult learners in the field of membrane treatment solutions.

Leadership and Collaboration:

– Provide leadership and guidance to a cross-functional team of learning and development professionals.

– Collaborate with subject matter experts, both internally and globally, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.

Global Learning Initiatives:

– Drive learning initiatives on a global scale, adapting content to meet cultural and regional nuances.

– Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across international teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of the learning programs.

Content Management:

– Create content management plans, solutions, and maintain content management sites to ensure clear control and workflows over approved training materials.

Technical Training Coordination:

– Coordinate with technical experts and stakeholders to develop comprehensive training programs for specialized technical skills.

Communication and Marketing:

– Demonstrate strong communication skills in coordinating with global partners, stakeholders, and team members.

– Articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to facilitate effective learning.

– Develop marketing, communication, and execution plans; build or leverage existing assets; partner with team members to develop deliverables.

Creativity and Best Practices:

– Infuse creativity into the design of learning materials to enhance engagement and retention.

– Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices in adult learning theories.

Learning Technology & Operations:

– Partner with the Learning Technology & Operations Administrator to ensure optimal functioning of the Learning Management System (LMS) and learning operations as needed.

– Operationalize new project requests, content maintenance, and regular reports in partnership with the Learning Technology & Operations Administrator.

– Stay informed about advancements in learning technologies and recommend enhancements to the existing infrastructure.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

– 8+ years of experience working in the learning and development field, with at least 4 years of leading projects and teams.

– Demonstrated experience in project management and instructional design, particularly in the context of technical and global projects, from end to end.

– Strong understanding of adult learning theories and their application in designing effective training programs.

– Experience managing SharePoint sites, learning management systems, and other learning technologies.

– Experience developing communication and marketing plans, building learning curriculums, and partnering with global team members to execute on the vision.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

– Demonstrated creativity in designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.

– Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and collaboration tools.

– Previous experience defining and managing learning curricula for technical and sales skills.

– Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

– Experience working with a global organization.

– Certifications in project management and instructional design are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time, remote position, 10% travel, flexible schedule to accommodate meetings in global time zones.

Salary range:  $122,400 – $128,400
